Move Digimon just places mons from your collection onto the farm.

hover over them and press start

they are free from the farm

Back to the shoebox

look at bottom right

if you select /focus on the mon it will have a return to box feature

have you check agent skill tree?

also i found that the best skill a digion can have is called vitality theft as it gives you HP for doing damage andthe more damage you deal the more health you get back

in box, they still get exp

digimon in box also get exp

also digimon in your inventory also gain exp

also talking to them rise the bond which is to max pasing stats
