Homestuck has emotionally broken me probs like 3 separate times while reading it. Also, since music is media, "Like Him" by Tyler the Creator is a song that hits me every listen

grief/death is weird bc it's this big grand emotional thing but also it can be really inconvenient in this really mundane material way

The finale of Yakuza Like a Dragon was one of the few games that got me close to crying. The JP and ENG VAs for the final scene is perfect. Ichiban is my favorite character ever and I unironically strive to be like him.

One thing that breaks me in general is a sense of "epistemic communion", that is, when you realize that the way you think or feel is not wrong, that it has a name, that other people share it, and that you can use it to make the world a happier place

Also, VNV Nation's orchestral album Resonance is a certified soul crusher: you cry once before and then again after paying attention to the lyrics:violin::musical_notes:

Without getting too into spoilers, a certain Important Choice with no 'good' outcome in Life is Strange 2 Ep. 2 had me stunlocked for a bit even though I knew which I'd end up picking.
