Outside of REALLY overperforming cards like Vivi, Cutter, and Cub, Magic cards at base rarity become cheap af two months after release, even meta staples. But two years later is a different story

Like Pre-Guilds of Ravnica MtG art is so crisp. Once you got beyond Fifth Dawn the art got super CGI looking instead of the more artistic art of Pre-Mirrodin block

And SL foiling is absolutely horrific (pringle out of package!) but that stuff is SUPER valuable compared to the nonfoil because scalpers
