1:32:53DS1 is great for what it was, but it has glaring issues in the second half. Still a must play of the ps3 era
1:33:09DS1 is my absolute fav, but you can't ever recapture playing it for the first time
1:33:21It's not... the most interesting sure, but it's so easy to boot up and be like "Hey dudes let's play DS3 we all know where the items are and what builds we can rush to"
1:33:38once you know it it becomes very easy
1:33:42I have to say from soft in general is really great with h
1:33:53i dont think its the better game, its incomplete, but It vibes more than ds3 imo
1:34:02I like DS1 but I can't stand the rest. I always buy them and never finish em

1:34:16me as an english learner once borrowed the phrase "powder my nose" from you and used it to my irl friend he gave me a weird look
1:34:18Bloodborne is my only souls-like game
1:34:30My personal fromsoft ranking (excluding armored core) is bloodborne, sekiro, ds1, elden ring, ds2, ds3, demon’s souls
1:34:40SPIN THE SHONDO IN YOUR MIND
1:34:48i wanna play demon souls, but dont feel like emulating
1:35:01from soft always makes their games about the end of a world. the end of the kingdom or prosperity or basically you are in the aftermath of amegehddon
1:36:42Fromsoft’s storytelling is heavily influenced by japanese mythology and cultural storytelling themes and most of their games reflect a similar view. That said, they always make it feel new
1:37:06I'm sure we can all see how the western game devs are going now.
1:37:12sekiro was less Armageddon but the end of a ruling class
1:37:21fear and hunger does good passive story telling
1:37:32Any Blade of Darkness enjoyers here? The souls game before souls games got a name.
1:37:35Anyways Armored Core 7 when (we’re not getting a second 6th gen game, are we?)
