They're usually puzzles focused around the gadget you get, like pitfall puzzles if you get the grappling hook, or triggering far away switches with the bow or boomerang

zelda is more than pushing blocks, its basically "how do I get this thing over there" and then you get an item that has a gimmick to traverse the rest of the dungeon and also defeat the boss
