3:48:43She's not gonna BAM guys, she's getting sneaky.
3:50:13yeah let's go Uruka!:baguette_bread::smiling_face_with_hearts::baguette_bread:
3:50:18the sheet writer prolly gave up
3:50:32The guy who arranged it I believe was 15 at the time
3:51:38He's got the absolute basics. Just fucked up the measures.
3:51:39there was effort at least :face_holding_back_tears:
3:52:10you still sightread significantly better than I could ever imagine
3:52:11so it's playing by ear but with a starter
3:52:46It really is, your sight reading ability is ridiculous
3:52:48Thank you for playing for everyone :red_heart:
3:53:03You read the start and end, and fill in the middle right
3:53:11sorta like stepping into a pool and it's got when you expect it to be cold, a shock but you'll get used to it
3:53:15she's just built different. she's built correct.:_urukaMindbreak:
3:53:18Hmmm Yeah Character Familiarization
3:53:32that's very understandable! and unfortunately I the same problem
3:53:41yeah just fake it until you make it
3:53:45Its a cool skill, hence the cool bear.
3:54:00I’ve met people like that in bands and they are so awesome
3:54:06pattern recognition. its like reading words off of just the first and last letter
3:54:29so you're planning in advance as opposed to reacting
3:54:32You're scanning ahead and playing behind, yeah
3:54:36It has been shown that your brain just looks at the first/last letters of a word, and the letters between don't have to be there but not in order
3:54:52*have* to be there but not in order
3:54:53Kind of like knowing the piece coming up in tetris?
3:55:04that's how you are supposed to sight read. you look at the next measure and see what pattern it is and on what note it starts on and then play it
