Stand on top for a bit. water sources in the spawner do help. We turned ours into a funnel and used sources at the corners to push them into 4 troughs and down the hole.:_henyaPopcorn:

does the grinder have trapdoors? trapdoors count as blocks

building a water elevator to height limit then dropping back to the platform might help, will guarantee despawns of anything underground.

@arcanask blaze farm is goated for xp and fuel, i like the bigbooty17 design

when you find a mob spawer it would be better

blaze spawner xp farm have an independent spawn timer so it is better on a crowded server, its kinda easy to build too
