I think they got so much criticism over the items in twilight princess. but they did massively improve upon it after.

The only game that surpassed TP in my heart as favorite Zelda was TOTK but that's bc of the story more than gameplay

one thing i love about zelda is that there's no "objectively bad" games. you may dislike a zelda game for whatever reason but there's no "sonic 06" or "sonic boom" in zelda
