We had high school hockey in new york state growing up, but they didn't play on campus, they rented ice time somewhere

I would say it region dependent. there little towns in Texas where the highschool is university size stadiums for foozballs

the texas ones fit up to 20k, eagle stadium in allen tx is 18k but it one of the more famous ones cause it specifically only made to host primarily for that one school
