the game is great but i dont know if i would say it's better than FFs, Trails of, tales of, SMT and other RPGs, the overhyped bit i think its because the game did cater to a lot of normies and-

i think its the parry and dodge that is keeping you warding u off, I believe in the options menu u can toggle and it should be less stricter on parry

As much as I love the story, a game is a game. I wouldn't say the story is so good that you need to endure all the gameplay for it
