Problem is that we're told that she's a great ninja, but she never get chances to show it. When she does get moments, they're usually hype (Sasori, the Uchiha guy in Boruto)

I haven't run into the damsel problem with the shonens I've watched (MHA and Demon Slayer), but that's just my opinion. I just think anyone who isn't a main character doesn't get developed a ton
